Ok, so I am really excited! School is so close to over and I can't believe it! I am just at this point that I am ready to dance around, because my dramatic, overwhelming 10th grade year is FINALLY (almost) OVER! I can't express how happy I am in words. There is no way to just come out and say it, because if there was, it would take up and entire page of random "happiness words" and then some!
Anyway, I am excited about school ending -- as if I haven't made that clear -- and I am also excited because in just a few days, I can get my license. I have worked really hard to get my license, so now I will finally have the chance! I can drive on my own, as long as I am in the house by midnight and not out of the house before four AM, all is well. That is the local curfew; I am sure my dad has many other ideas, that I would be more than happy to go by!
Upcoming (or recent) events: I have a choir concert Tuesday night, and I have a huge solo. I am going to sing Tzitel's part in the song "Matchmaker" from
Fiddler on the Roof. I have a 2 page solo, and I am nervous, but also really happy because that is an ensemble song. Breif synopsis, ensemble is 13 - 14 girls picked by
audition to sing, usually out of about 50 - 60 girls that do audition. To get into ensemble, you have to have talent. To get a solo in ensemble, you have to be the best of the best. That is really exciting. So, on with the story...
As far as I know, I am going back to Sweden on the... 9th? I can't remember if it's 8th or 9th, but either way, Sweden better brace itself, because if I come in on a horse, I am likely to cause and earthquake... hahahaha.
For those of you who don't remember, or who didn't know me last time I was in Sweden, let me take this opportunity to refresh (and/or brief) your minds...
I was in Sweden, I want to say it was Fora (with the little thingy above the "a", but I don't have a cool keyboard), and we went horse-back riding on the ranch. Well, as fun as that would sound, I'VE NEVER RIDDEN A HORSE! So, we start of slow; I am riding a horse named "Eagle". Comforting, right? Well, we start to trot. Yeah. Trotting. Hahahaha! Let's put it this way: the horse decided that I had wings, and gave me enough "air" to hit the gravel. Yeah. What hurt the most... was my pride!
So, now that you have been refreshed about bits and pieces of last summer, and are now aware of upcoming events, look for more posts! I will *try to* keep up with them this time around, but we all know how well that worked last time!
Love ya bunches!
